Our small, but mighty team keeps every day running smoothly from greeting customers with a smile, picking apples, twirling creamees, cooking up batches of hot apple cider donuts, pressing cider, ringing up orders to sell pies, jams and so much more! Our multi-talented team includes college students, high school students as well as parents, retirees and folks who work other part or full time jobs. We are constantly on the move during our days so our positions are perfect for hard working, fun and energetic folks who can start mid/late August and work through the end of October.
HIRING 2026 POSITIONS
Donut Maker/Kitchen Production: Did you know that all of our donuts are hand made and cooked to order? Our busy kitchen loves the challenge of cranking out sometimes thousands of our cider donuts a day to serve to our happy customers! This position works closely with our kitchen manager and is primarily responsible for producing our donuts Thursday-Sunday. It requires standing for long periods, lifting 50lb and repetitive motions. An interest or experience in culinary/baking is preferred and of course, we’ll teach you!
Pie Baking/Kitchen Assistant: Just like our team, our Yates Family Orchard Apple Pie and Baking demand is also growing! Help us produce our yummy pies and baked goods to deliver to our customers. This position will also include production of our other kitchen goodies from peeling and prepping apples, making caramels, mixing our in house ice cream flavors to helping keep our kitchen running smoothly! This position is ideally Wednesday-Sunday.
Retail Stand/Creamee Stand Creator: Do you love working with people? Love a fast paced environment, working closely with a team to deliver smiles? This position includes working within our Orchard Farm Stand, greeting customers, ringing up orders and delivering an exceptional on-farm customer experience. This position will also find you working closely, as part of a busy back-of-the-house team, taking orders, cooking hot cider donuts, twirling creamees, creating Dreamees® and serving our all amazing treats! Seeking midweek and weekend availability.
Apple Picking Field Work/Cider Maker: Interested in working outdoors, harvesting apples and learning how to blend and produce our orchard pressed cider? This position keeps our grounds running smoothly by picking LOTS of apples for cider making and the orchard stand. Mechanical experience a plus and we will teach you our cider pressing operation. This position requires a motivated, self starter, able to physically move about the orchard, lift 50lb, endure repetitive motions and climb ladders. Seeking Monday-Friday and/or weekend availability.
